Aquaculture Business Planning Tutorials Now Available |

The Indiana Soybean Alliance is now making business planning tutorials available that will help aquaculture producers with financial forecasting. Spreadsheets were developed to assist producers in developing financial statements, which are a necessity of any well-developed business plan.
Created by aquaculture economists at Purdue and Kentucky State Universities, these spreadsheets will help producers using ponds, cages or recirculating production systems. These new tutorials will teach you spreadsheet basics and help walk you through filling them out. These spreadsheets and tutorials were developed using Indiana soybean checkoff dollars as part of the Indiana Soybean Alliance's goal to increase the sales of soy-based aquafeeds by assisting in the development of a Midwest aquaculture industry. |
